SV	In welke gij u verheugt, nu een weinig [tijds] (zo het nodig is) bedroefd zijnde door menigerlei verzoekingen;

ASV	Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,
BE	You have cause for great joy in this, though it may have been necessary for you to be troubled for a little time, being tested in all sorts of ways,

Darby	Wherein ye exult, for a little while at present, if needed, put to grief by various trials,

Sch	in welcher ihr frohlocken werdet, die ihr jetzt ein wenig, wo es sein muß, traurig seid in mancherlei Anfechtungen,
Web	In which ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season (if need be) ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
Weym	Rejoice triumphantly in the prospect of this, even if now, for a short time, you are compelled to sorrow amid various trials.
